Introduction to css.html.

Our Infocomm studies teacher gave us a challenge: Work in pairs and use css to decorate our html. I had encountered many difficulties and problems while trying to understand what is html and how do I create one. However, I found out that grasping the concept of css was much more challenging than I thought. First of all, it was much more complicated and there were so many colour codes. After I spent hours searching for information on Google and practicing, I finally got a grasp of it. Up till now, I am still trying to remember the format of a css.html and the tags for html. I got a list of useful colour codes at http://html-color-codes.com/ .

Forum Discussions

Our teacher opened a forum discussion on the differences of Web 1.0 and 2.0. The class was divided into three forum discussion groups. For each group, there would be one or two videos for us to view before typing out our views.I feel that the forum discussion on ning.com was a very effective and effecient way of learning. It not only allows us to learn from the interesting videos, we get to learn what is our classmates' response. This way we can learn from each other and learning has become a fun and exciting. I feel that technology has really made our lives more fascinating and I am sure it will keep on improving.

What is html?

I was taught what was html and how to create one by my teacher. At first, I was very confused and could not understand what was the logic of html. The tags required to create a webpage were just mind-boggling and there were just too many of them. The tags were actually for expressing how we want the words to appear on our html. Fortunately, our teacher gave us some websites to visit and videos to watch. Our teacher also very patient with us and explained it to those who did not understand. In a nutshell, we learned how to create a html using notepad in just a week! For those who would like to know how to create your very own webpage, you can watch a video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K_5WSp530SA There are actually three parts to it and all of them are available on youtube.
